I’ve recently began using the manual mode of my point-and-shoot camera – don’t judge! 🙂

I try to always use the manual mode, but with my point-and-shoot, I’m sometimes limited as to what I have control over (e.g., I can control the shutter speed, but not the aperture or vice versa), which can make things quite frustrating, so in order to get the best picture, I’m forced to use the dreaded auto button.

I know I still need lots of practice.  I’m still in the early stages, and my pictures will be hit or miss, but I’m OK with that– I will post them anyway.  I’m not trying to become a professional. This is just something I like to do for fun.

I don’t like using the flash much, if at all, so most of my pictures are taken outdoors.

I plan on posting a picture everyday, with the hopes of improving on my “photography” and for now, that is the purpose of this blog.
