A hint of green

In the woods surrounded by nothing but the color gray, it was nice to spot this little hint of green, even if it’s only lichen growing on an old tree stump.

This is what fall looks like around here. By looking at the trees you’d never be able to tell.

Lawn Decor

Heart shaped spider webs are all the rage around here.

Green Grass

Record-breaking warm weather, mixed in with a few days of rain… means I’ll be using my lawn mower a lot sooner than expected.

Green Beans

I like mine steamed with a clove or two of garlic. Once they’re steamed, I mince the garlic and add it to the beans with a little salt and pepper. I like to put the bacon on top, that way it stays crunchy and adds some texture to the beans.
