Day Lilies

I planted these Day Lilies four years ago, and the excitement of seeing them bloom year after year, never seems to wear off. They seem to pop up so fast! One day they’re buds and the next thing you know, they’re fully bloomed and dusted with pollen.

Whenever I see this color of a lily, I start craving some peaches. And I love me some peaches.

How pretty are those filaments? That is my absolute favorite part of a lily flower. Now, I’m off to find myself a juicy, sweet peach!
